9 Square

9 Square is a volleyball-style game played in a 3×3 grid of squares.

• Each player stands in their own square.
• The ball starts with the player in the King square(middle square).
• Players hit the ball up and into another player’s square.
• The ball can be hit only with your hands, but no catching or holding.
• If the ball lands in your square, goes out, or you make an illegal hit, you’re out.
• Players rotate forward to fill the empty square, and a new player joins at the lowest spot.
• The goal is to reach and stay in the King’s square.
